FriendshipCalls
You hold a lot. For your work, your loved ones, your clients, your community.
Even the most capable, insightful people need space to speak freely, reflect, or simply feel less isolated.
Not to be fixed, nor to be coached, but simply be heard as you are.
FriendshipCalls brings calm, grounded presence for people navigating real life.
It’s companionship with intention, a place to talk things through at your pace.
No pressure, no hierarchy, just a place to land and breathe.
Running a business or carrying responsibilities that leave little room to pause, let alone offload.
Travelling often or working remotely, craving consistent connection and conversations with more depth.
In a time of transition: recently retired, an empty nester, recovering from illness, or starting over.
Holding space for others all day long as a coach, holistic practitioner, or wellness professional, wondering where you get to feel supported.

Hi, I'm Hannah MacKinnon, Founder of YouLiberated.
I’m not a therapist. I’m not a coach.
I’ve always been a listener.
Since childhood, I’ve loved hearing people’s stories. From regular visits with elderly neighbours to long, open-ended conversations while hitchhiking across the UK and Europe as a teenager. The dreams people hold, the concerns they carry, and the things they might otherwise keep inside without an outlet.
Years later, while providing operational support to a multi best-selling author and coach in the UK, I was invited to join her coaching team. Not because of qualifications, but because she saw something in how I held space. I supported clients in both business and personal goals, offering presence, accountability, encouragement, and a steadiness they valued. Her trust helped bring into focus something I’d known for a long time.
Then in 2020, while living in Guatemala under curfews, I began having regular video calls with my elderly parents and other relatives in the UK, who were in lockdown. It quickly became clear how much those calls mattered. It wasn’t just about staying in touch. It was about creating a sense of steadiness during uncertainty. A grounded outlet. A space to express and to connect.
Something clicked.
FriendshipCalls grew out of all of that. Years of listening, caring, and showing up. And the understanding that consistent, intentional presence can be one of the most powerful ways to offer genuinely meaningful support. The kind that helps you feel you’re not carrying it all alone.
Carrying it all doesn’t always mean the big responsibilities. It can be the weight of lingering concerns, questions running through your mind, or even dreams you keep to yourself. But whether it’s responsibilities or things left unspoken, here you don’t have to carry them in isolation.
"Hannah’s FriendshipCalls appeared at the perfect moment in my life. Her ability to really listen and relay back to me with clarity what I’m saying helps me work through problems and find solutions.
Hannah is gifted in making sure all aspects of a dilemma are addressed. I feel extremely comfortable in our discussions, and her input and ability to see the bigger picture make a tremendous impact on how I navigate particular obstacles."

"Wow! Hannah's FriendshipCalls are a gemstone! We sold everything for a chance at a better life in South America, but didn't feel as settled as expected.
Hannah was a blessing, helping calm me down and realize South America was not for me, helping me feel validated in my choices. She was there when I felt so alone - listening to me, didn't judge me - a light in a dark tunnel. Hannah is a phenomenal support. I am so happy she popped into my life!"
